# Overview

**1. Select your products & choose API(s)**

The first step of any Rye integration is to [decide what kinds of products and stores you want to sell from](https://docs-test.rye.com/docs/get-started/adding-products/selecting-products). The products you choose to sell will determine which parts of our API will be most relevant to your integration.

**2. Add products**

Once you have a product list and have determined which Rye APIs to use, you can start adding these products to our catalog. We have guides for developers using both our [Sell Anything API](https://docs-test.rye.com/docs/get-started/adding-products/sell-anything-api) and our [Sync API](https://docs-test.rye.com/docs/get-started/adding-products/sync-api).

**3. Sync product data**

After adding your products to the Rye catalog, you will want to [store a local copy of the data](https://docs-test.rye.com/docs/get-started/adding-products/syncing-products) to improve your integration's reliability.
