# Overview

> Rye’s Sync API enables you to seamlessly collect commissions from your merchants.

Rye's Sync API enables you to seamlessly receive [commissions](commissions) upon generating sales for merchants you have commission deals with, and offers higher quality data compared to our Sell Anything API offering.

Simply, have them [install the Rye app](/sync-api/shopify-merchant-onboarding/shopify-app-installation) on the store and you can start placing orders and receiving orders for those sales automatically. No extra end of month reconciliation processes needed.
